Unused Southwest Airlines Miles?

You can help the animals by donating your unused Southwest Airlines vouchers/passes to THLN. Our executive director is now traveling throughout the state to organize THLN regional chapters so that we can increase our effectiveness in the Texas Legislature. Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards program allows you to transfer your mileage credits to another flyer if you so choose. The THLN Sustainers Program is an easy way to help animals every day, while spreading your donation over a specific period of time. Click here to contact us about setting up a monthly donation!

You can change or stop your contributions at any time. Just notify THLN in writing at least 10 business days before your next scheduled transfer. Transfers are processed on the last business day of the month.

*Your credit card bill will also serve as a monthly record of your contributions.
All funds are used to benefit animals. Other giving plans can be accommodated.

TRIBUTE GIFT

THLN is pleased and proud to accept gifts made in memory of loved ones or in honor of family, friends and cherished pets.

To remember someone or some very special animal, you can make a memorial gift in their name. If you would like to remember someone who had a special concern for animals, you can make a memorial gift in their name.

To make a Tribute Gift, click here to contact us. You may also send us a letter with the name of the person or pet in whose name you want to make the gift, the occasion (if any), and the name and address of any person who should receive a notification of your gift. We do not inform that person of the amount of your gift, only that we have received it. Please remember to include your own name and address so that we can give you the proper acknowledgement of your gift.

LIFE MEMBERSHIP

Members who make cumulative lifetime gifts to THLN of $25,000 or more will become Life Members. Life Members receive the same benefits as our "Members", plus special recognition in our annual report. PLANNED GIVING

Planned gifts can benefit THLN while helping you to save taxes, increase your income and pass more on to your heirs.

What is Planned Giving? At its simplest level, a planned gift is one that requires no more effort than writing a check. On a more detailed level, a planned gift is most often a part of your estate plan, bringing multiple benefits and great flexibility to you as the donor.

GIVING CIRCLE

Giving Circles are a form of philanthropy consisting of groups of individuals who pool their funds and other resources to donate to their communities and seek to increase their awareness and engagement in the process of giving. Through this process, they seek to impact their own communities or larger areas - possibly to global impacts. The circles can serve as a form of shared, or collective, giving in the context of community economic development or other social ventures.

Members of giving circles donate their own money to a pooled fund, decide together where to give this away, and often have some sort of social or educational interaction associated with the giving. Many circles, in addition to donating their money, also contribute their time and skills to supporting local causes. Donations may range from spare change to thousands of dollars each year.
